Books to read about Anzac Day

Anzac Day is such an important date in calendars across the nation. The 25th of April is the commemoration of the many sacrifices made by those who have served Australia in times of need, and those who currently serve in Australia’s defence forces. The centenary of Anzac is from 2014–2018, commemorating the troops that landed at Gallipoli and who fought in the First World War. Students will know of Anzac Day, but do they understand its significance? Here is a great list of books you can read with your students to help them to understand the importance of the day.
